I have nowhere to vent my frustrations.
Seems like lady luck is always not by my side.

Seems like i really have to stay alone for the rest of my life just like how my gut feeling keeps telling me.

Ohh noo.
It's been ages since I updated my blog again.
I've been busy workinggg.
Off days are just for me to rest my aching legs, body and soul.
Partying days are limited.
Meet ups with friends are just based on my hectic schedule.
My life seems so screwed!

I'm a nurse.
Caring for patients is my job.
So, no complaints.
And since the day i chose this profession,
I would have already expected all these coming.

Well well, been really busy working.

Pardon me for using vulgarities in this entry.
But I just want to rant in here.
Work is so torturous.
I'm sad enough that i didn't get into A&E.
And for those who do not know, I actually got into Plastic Surgery & Eye ward.
Sounds interesting and cool right?!
It is! And I love the job scope there.
But the working environment sucks to the max!
And I thought that it shouldn't be difficult to blend into the ward.
I'm so wrong.
SO WRONG.
The fact that I'm new and the only one in the batch of August to get into this particular ward just makes things worst.
I'm like totally on my own.
Furthermore, I know nuts about PLASTIC SURGERY/EYE.
And when I tried to ask for help in something,
the staff there are hostile and FUCKING unfriendly!

Ward sister: "Everyone, we have a new staff today, she just came back from Australia, she is a degree holder."
Nurse 1: "wahh u already got ur degree, we only diploma lehh. You're so much more senior than us leh."
Nurse 2: " Yahh lahh, degree lehh, we want to take also cannot loh."

Every single shit also associate with my degree.
LIKE WHAT THE FUCK!
I personally don't think that having a degree is any greater.
My pay is only a pathetic $100 more.
My designation is still the same as them- staff nurse 1.
DAMMIT!
Seriously, if they want to be so sulky about it then jolly well go ahead and take the course.
Who is bloody stopping them man.
Freakingg pissed off sometimes.
Each time I try to brace myself up thinking that things will get better each day,
they never fail to disappoint me.
I ended up losing confidence towards this ward.
The more I dread going to work.
I even thought of transferring ward but that's like so LOSER isn't it?
I don't want to be a LOSER!
Well, I just hope for the better.
I really do hope and I'm trying to convince myself.
I'm hopeful!

I just came back from Bangkok.
A fruitful yet tiring trip though.
Very happy to be able to see my family and friends there.
Had loads of fun.
And thankfully, my dearest grandpa is fine now.
He is on medications.
It will probably take awhile to recover but at least he is stable.

And I realised that my blog has been really boring.
The lack of photos maybe?
HAHA.
I haven't even posted anything about Taiwan yet.
Feeling really lazy.
Furthermore, I feel really ugly now seriously.
The weight gain causing my round face, fat arms, fat thighs, everywhere round
like SERIOUSLY!
Plus my very poor skin condition now.
I ought or rather NEED to do something about it.
Before I really kill myself.
And I think I'm on the verge of doing that already.

Ohh, and I have decided.
I want to go Thailand and study Thai language like properly.
To be able to write and read.
I might be able to have a career switch in the later part of my life.
Not that the language school in Singapore is not good.
But I just feel like experiencing being a full-fledged Thai for a period of time.
I want to stay there for a year or something!
Sounds like a crazy idea, but I'm serious!
I'm so planning for it now.

I can't seem to stay in Singapore for long.

I have been feeling really emo and lifeless.
Sighs.
My mind is constantly thinking of many many things.
Friendships especially.
Sometimes I wonder why things turned out this way.
Maybe I could have done something to prevent all this from happening?
Or rather I could have handled the situation better there and then?
I cant help but feeling sad and yet I really dont know how to start getting the friendships back.
I'm afraid of rejection and the akwardness.
Really afraid.
She is one of my bestest girlfriend.
The endless conversations and nonsensical stuff we do together.
From online shopping --> endless eating --> school --> malaysia --> travelling together right up to studying in Australia together.
Everything.
I do miss it.
He is my buddy.
He never fail to cheer me up.
The endless stuff we talked about.
The 3 tier muffins on my 21st Birthday especially.
And he never fail to make me sing Sing Star over and over again.
All these sweet memories that will stay in my heart forever.
I don't know when will we be like last time again.
Or maybe it's impossible.
All I want to say is I really treasure the times we spent together.
And I really miss you both.

I'm blogging in my hotel room in Bangkok now.
Walked around Suan Lum Night Bazzar just now.
Loving it.

Though I have been here umpteen times, I never ever once got sick of it.
I feel very relaxed.
And most importantly very very happy.
I don't know why.
Maybe this place feels like home.
And this trip is not only a short getaway, but also a trip to visit my dearest grandpa.
He is very very sick now.
His intestine ruptured due to the excessive intake of alcohol.
The 1st operation was a success and he is in the midst of waiting for the 2ND one.
I hope he will get well soon.
I love him and I can't imagine losing him.
So I pray really hard.

And I'm so suppose to update about my Sydney trip!
Oh my.
Getting very lazy updating all the nitty gritties of my life.
How am I going to maintain my blog when I go back to Singapore like seriously?!
Been bumming around doing nothing much.
Besides sleeping, eating, partying, playing Internet and having fun.

The 1st thing we touched down in Sydney was to fill up our tummy,
so we headed to the East Ocean Chinese restaurant at Chinatown to eat Dim Sum!
The Dim Sum was fantastic.
So much better than Singapore.
We had Dim Sum twice during our trip.
Freakingggg Yummylicious!
Look at all our happy faces.
HAHA.

Shopping at the City is a must.
The shopping there is O.M.G
Lots of variety and many many brands.
Too many!
We walked til our legs ached.

Our main aim to Sydney was to attend Jay Chou's Concert!
We are so exciteddd can.
Thousands and thousands of people attended his concert.
It was jammed-packed!
But it wasn't really as good as I thought it would be.
Jay didn't really sing all his latest songs.
He sang mostly old songs and the audience was alittle too calm?
HAHA.
But Jay sings really well.
And I mean really really well.
He is so CUTE!!! :D

I'm a seafood lover and I totally loveee that place.
Needless to say, the guys went crazy!
They went crazy over the oysters, the abalones, the lobsters,

If you are a seafood lover, this is a MUST GO place!

And everything is just so fresh.
Now I'm starting to miss the Fish Market.

Andrew brought us to a very nice Italian restaurant at The Rocks.
Real authentic Italian food.
Very nice, but the service there SUCKS.
The waiters are all those middle eastern people.
Not trying to be racist here but seriously!
HAHA.

And guess what?!
There is a Guylian Chocolate Cafe there!
Can you imagine how exciteddd I was?!
We went there for desserts after dinner.
Yummmmmy!

We saw this phone booth on the street and started playing with it.

Jee told me that Queen Victoria Mall is a place that I would definitely like it.
So we decided to go see for ourselves.
True enough,
I simply loveee the exterior & interior designs of it.
Very very nicely done.
Loving it!

On one of the nights, we took a leisure stroll after dinner.
We ended up just right opposite Sydney Opera House.
Awesome view!
We also took a pic of the Sdyney Opera House in the day.

A very pretty church in the city caught my eye while we are shopping.
Can't take my eyes of that church!

And being the partyying us, we went clubbing at V Bar!
HAHAHAHA.
We club where ever we go man.
The club is very happening!
There were so many asians and the girls are super uber hot!
But! alittle too wild.
Well, the guys loveee it! HAHA.

Ohh! Did i mention that I HEART all the bakeries in Sdyney!
There were so many.
They all look so goodddd.
I wanted to try all but obviously I didn't manage to.

Been really busy with school and work.

I had a kayaking and snorkeling trip yesterday morning at 7am!

Super fun but freaking tiring.

I think i kayaked for about 4 hrs?!

My arm ached man.

It was a very good experience though.

We have to team up into groups of 2, and it must be 1 boy and 1 girl.

And my kayaking buddy is damn funny! HAHA.

He has been entertaining me throughout the whole journey.

But we were freezing during snorkeling.

It was just so so so cold.

Goosebumps just kept forming.

We almost died.

Though the weather was very extreme, the sceneries was just awesome!

I totally enjoyed it.

I haven't been blogging for a really long time man.

My blog is rotting away.

Been really busy with a presentation and an assignment.

Everything is finally all done now and im so heaving a sign of relief!

But!

Im really scared for Research assignment.
That one's a big headache.
Im praying damn hard for it.
I hope i dun fail.

Im going to be a vegetarian for 1 week.

And recently, i have been thinking alot.

Too many things running through my mind.

Dad have been asking me whether i want to consider getting PR in Australia.

Each time i skyped with him, he always ask me the same old thing again and again.

He have been weighing all the pros and cons for me and his verdict was,

"Australia is the place for me."

Reason being,

the pay here is superbly high as compared to Singapore.

I do agree that the pay here is just simply irresistible.

What i earn here as a nurse is easily 6 times more than what i earn back in Singapore.

Moreover, i really love the environment, the lifestyle and the sceneries here.

They are just so so so amazing.

But of cos i still have to serve my bond in SGH for 3 years.

And i will definitely miss all my precious family, my dear besties, my friends, my Singapore food and so much more lahh!

I duno, im thinking hard.

But i think most probably i will apply for my PR in Aust.
Well, my mind is in a whirlwind now.

I didn't know that planning my future can be so stressful! :S

Besides that, im thinking about something else too.

Something that simply keeps me awake all the way til the wee hours in the morning for almost 3 days in a row now!

My eye bags are getting bigger and my dark circles are getting really dark.

I look like a panda now.

I look horrible.

It is a world wide pandemic now.

More cases are being confirm and that really scares me.

The thought of another outbreak just like SARS?

The total death toll during that time was unbelievably alarming.

I'm extremely happy these days.

Pretty cranky also. HAHA.

I got back my Psychosocial exam results a couple of days ago and i passed!

I got a credit for it.

Lucky me.

Just finished my Nutrition online exam and i got a credit as well.

Everything seems to be more on track now.

I'm really proud of myself because i have been studying this few days.

HAHA.

As the days goes by,

I kept reminding myself that im here to study and not play.

So now, I have been trying to put in abit more effort in revising.

Hopefully im able to sustain.

There is just 1 more exam next Saturday and a Research assignment due on the 15Th May before i can start to relax again.

Hopefully, everything goes smoothly.

Recently, I have been thinking alot.

There are just too many things in my head now.

All day, I did every single thing except studying.

Recently i was feeling really moody.

My mind is preoccupied with so many things.

I just feel like staying at home and i'm always coping myself in the room.

Don't really have any motivation or energy to do anything at all.

Just feel like sleeping everything away.

To make things worst,

Psychosocial exam is on this coming Saturday.

Study again.

Did i ever mention that i really hate studying?

I really hate it.

But still, i have to. Sighs.

I feel like eating ice cream now.

Only ice cream will make me happy.

I had a really long Easter weekend.

I was so hoping that the weekend would be like any other weekends that we had.

Sheeny, Jim and I went up to Brissy and stayed over at Clement's place.

Movies, wrestling, eating, shopping, playing arcade games, table tennis etc.

Had loads of fun, as usual.

All the crapping and lame jokes. HAHA.

And finally i got to go to my long awaited Klub Kandy Party.

Initially i was so excited thinking that its gonna be another fun party.

But this time round i didn't really enjoy much though.

In fact in the middle of it, i was feeling kinda depressed.

So much so that the bar counter became my good friend.

Tried many different drinks.

Not too bad though.

But i drank a tat too much that i ended up puking a couple of times.

Freaking disgusting.

Luckily, the guys were there to take care of me and Sheeny.

Had another really fun weekend!

This time its Andrew's Birthday!

We planned a little surprise for him.

Hope he like it though.

On the day of his birthday,

We went down to Brisbane for a nice dinner by the Story Bridge.

And had a really crappy session of KTV with all the oldies.

Just took the online exam and i passed!

PHEW.

I got 32/50.

The questions are pretty hard.

Some qns looked really alien to me. HAHA.

In my heart im already preparing to fail.

I was like telling myself im so dead, so gonna flunk this paper.

And i was like racing with the time can.

50 Qns within 50mins.

Which means 1 Qn, 1 min! Damn kan chiong lahh!

But now, its all over.

I know didn't do very well, hopefully next time i can do better.

Its like 2.30am in the morning.

Im like studying for my online exam.

Its nutrition.

Seems easy huh. Its just like going back to poly times.

I feel like im going through all the things that i have learnt before.

But im not sure why,

Im just not very confident.

I kept wanting to take the exam, but the fear of not doing well stops me from taking the exam.

I really want to do well.

I guess i will do it on Thursday morning?

I don't know.

Im extremly happy today!

Did quite abit of shopping with Sheeny at Pac fair as well.

Got some moisturizer for my hair,

bought a maxi dress,

bought a basic top,

bought a pair of new tights

and conditioner for my hair!

Better stop it Beth.

I need to save up more money also,

so that i will have more savings.

Savings to do what i want,

savings for rainy days

and

savings for SKY-DIVING!!!

I dont want to depend on my dad for money anymore.

I think i should be giving him money soon, since i have already officially turned 21.

One Good Weekend!

I had a really good weekend.

Fully utilised. I like it.

First was the Singapore Students Association (SSA) welcome BBQ at GUV.

It was an event for all the new and the old members to meet up.

Did had a great time mingling with the people there.

And got to know some new people as well.

It was great i think.

I would consider a success though there were some hiccups here and there.

Secondly,

Andrew & Clement came down to the coast to party.

Jim cum the 2 of them stayed over at our place and they were really funny people!

All sorts of jokes and crap.

We were all so cracked up.

We are all going to develop abs soon. HAHA.

We went to Drinks to club and needless to say,

I had loads of fun.

Had fun drinking, dancing and people watching!

Many SSA people were there as well,

i think we conquered the Asian population there. HAHA.

The next day,

Sheeny, Siyu, Jeremy & i went rock climbing!

The other 3 guys was suppose to come with us but they totally concussed can.

They cant wake up lah!

Expected lah. Pigggs what. HAHAHA.

So the 3 of us went ahead with Jeremy.

We had so much fun there lah.

Rock Climbing is a very good sport i would say.

It is a very good workout.

These few days, it has been raining non-stop.

The weather forecast says that today it will only rain in the afternoon.

So Jim and I went for a jog early in the morning.

We almost ran to surfers paradise and it started raining heavily lah!

The weather is so unpredictable.

We were so damn soaking wet.

Had to even hide under a tree cos there were no shelters!

What a day man.

But at least we managed to run 45mins lah.

Luckily David had to accompany his aunts and Shenny refuse to run.

They manage to escape.

I hope the weather gets better soon.

I want to do other sports.

I sincerely thank everyone who celebrated my 21st birthday for me.
I had a very good one back in Singapore as well as Gold Coast.
The night before i got a 2 tier paper poohbear cake with 2 candles on it from Sheeny & Siyu.

David & Jasmine prepared a very fun and sumptious sushi party for me.
Really appreciate that alot.

Had SSA meeting today.

Til now i wasn't sure if taking up the position as a treasurer was a right choice.

So many things to do on top of my studies.

Since i already took up the position.

Guess i just have to stop complaining and just do my part.

Called my boss today at work regarding the date to start work.

He said that he wont need so many people for the next 2 weeks.

Gotta wait for his call.

Not too bad, the module seems kinda useful.

But, the assignment is freaking tough.

I hope i do well this sem.

No more slacking.

I also went to the bank to settle my school fees,

then my rental then grocery shopping!

So troublesome.

That's how it's like staying overseas alone.

Having to take care of every single thing by myself.

But i have to be independent right?

Haven't been blogging for quite some time.

Was busy meeting up with all my friends before i leave.

Time flies man.

In less than 2 mths, im back here again.

The flight is so damn freaking long.

And i spent the whole entire day unpacking my stuff.

So so so tiring!

But, i had a very good summer vacation!

Went to many places and got to eat all my favourite food.

Went clubbing with my darling Liana at Powerhouse last week,

went to the Zoo with Nin & Otte hoping to show them how Singapore Zoo is like.

But, heavy rain came pouring in!

We were there for less than 2 hrs! Super dampening my mood.

But then again, we had a karaoke session in the evening.

So, thats not too bad lah! HAHA.

Gus will also help me to bring them to the Zoo again.

So must enjoy okay!

Just last week, i went to a fish farm to have a pre-celebration of my 21st birthday with Fong, Erjie, Nin, Otte & Zhao Wei!

We had BBQ! LOL.

In the middle of the sea. Fantastic!

A very good experience indeed.

The farm is owned by Zhao Wei's brother-in-law.

And its really nice of his brother-in-law to actually allow us to go to the farm for some fun.

Really appreciated it alot.

Hope we didnt give him too much trouble.

I love that place.

A very relaxing & stress free-place i would say.

Too bad Gus & edmund cant make it.

Just came back from Bangkok.

I totally enjoyed myself.

I simply loveee malaysia.

Everything is just sooooo WONDERFUL! LOL.

We ate at the Hong Kong cafe. It was superb.

Veh veh delicious food at veh veh cheap prices.

I LOVE.

We also went to sing KTV which is like $10 Sing per person!!!

The room was big and there were many songs.You name it, they have it.

Amazing.

Its comparable to the ones in Singapore in fact.

The four of us was like having a mini concert in there,

having tonnes of fun singing all the oldies and the latest songs.

HAHA.

We even have Aaron Kwok can. HAHAHA.

Dinner was good as well!

With all the local dishes like Bak Kut Teh, Cereal Crayfish, Sambal KangKong,

But the ambience was really good.

Didnt had Reunion dinner with my mummy, her husband and my sisters.

Cos my mum's mother-in-law passed away this afternoon.

Its so sudden.

She fainted at home and was found after like 4 hrs.

By the time she was sent to the hospital, it was too late.

She had already slipped into coma.

The reason for it was stroke.

She was so healthy. Who would have expected it?

Life is just so vulnerable and unpredictable.

Had my Reunion dinner at Zhou's Kitchen with Daddy, my younger brother and ErJie.

The food was alright, but i didnt think it was worth the money.

But well, there is always a first time in trying anything.

HAHA.

Tonight im going to stay up late to help my Daddy and my Mummy "shou ye".

I forgot whats that in english. HAHA.

Anyways, its good for our parents.

Tmr is the 1st day of CNY.

I went to Double O on fri to celebrate Johnny's bday.
Double O is not as fun as compared to last time.
However, the guys obviously had alot of fun, and they ordered so much alcohol.
We almost died.
It was so much that our Johnny was so high that he took a cab home himself.

The Queue was freaking longggg! But luckily we saw some friends and we manage to cut the queue.

I am so irritated today. Am i dreaming or am i just too careless.

I was doing this NETS transaction for a customer and happily passed her the receipt.

When i was re-printing the receipt for records keeping, i realised that

THE TRANSACTION DIDNT GET THROUGH!

I didnt check properly. ARGHHH.

My supervisor, Eileen & i was like looking for the customer everywhere in VIVO CITY!

Of course, we didnt manage to find the customer.

But luckily Eileen said its okay. She will cover for me.

PHEW!

My supervisor is NICE.

I was already feeling veh veh guilty. As if this wasnt enough.

I lost my money.

I slipped $10 into the back pocket of my jeans supposedly to buy food for the both of us.

I seriously dont know how did i manage to lose my money.

I must be dreaming. Really feel like slapping myself.

I have been working non-stop and busy meeting up with my friends.

Im so tired.

I miss them, so so much.

Holidays seem so short to me now.

After Social Night, i went clubbing with my BESTIES! Ladies Night! :)

We went to MOS Rebel. The music is good man.

But the drinks are so not worth the money. Well, what to do? MOS is always so ex.

We went to Arena after that for our free Lychee Martinis. Not available! :(

Instead, the bartender gave us some damn diluted drinks. And the music is so damn LOUD. Reached home at around 3plus.

Met up with Jer & Stef on Saturday to shop for outfits for Social Night.
We went to so many places and finally got what we wanted.
He spent so much money lah! Like seriously, i feel damn heart pain for him.

Haven't been blogging recently.
Because Sheeny & I have been hanging out with Jim, David & Sam almost everyday til the wee hours.
We are always going somewhere to eat and have fun, apparently Gold Coast is just too small.
We are always cracking our brain to think of something to do.

I have been busy working these few days.

Recently, i have been hanging out with Sam, Jim, David, Sheeny & Siyu.

We started off with a James Bond movie- Quantum of Solace 007 on Sunday.

I thought it was quite okay, but the guys were so disappointed with the movie.

HAHA. Oh well, we girls had fun laughing about the minor details in the show.

We went to Broadbeach to have Tim Sum and off to David's house to watch a japanese horror movie called One Missed Call.

HAHA.

I think the whole night its only David & me who is really watching the movie.

The rest were hiding behind a pillow? LOL.

But the paper was so so tough man.

I was like rushing through the paper trying to finish 30 MCQs & 25 SAQs!

And seriously, 2hrs is just too short for me.

Furthermore, a drug calculation with so many workings, its only worth 2 pathetic marks.

The exam is just so sucky.

This is so unlike of SG.

I wanna enjoy and celebrate! But, i just cant bring myself to.

Sighs, i don't think i will even pass.

How man?

I don't wanna retake this elective and waste my $!!!

I can only hope i pass.
